As principal contractor, Realm were responsible for the entire installation of a major new exhibition, part of a £16m development of the Woodhorn mining museum and county archives in Ashington, Northumberland.
A full turnkey project, the works comprised graphics, audio-visual displays, lighting, recon. interactives and display cases in both new and listed buildings across the site.
The project was completed on time, within the budget and was a great success. The centre received 10 000 visitors within its first two weeks.
