Mike has worked both as a cabinet maker and draughtsman since leaving school in 1987. In 2000 he proposed and pioneered the use of AutoCAD within his previous company, and for the next 12 years he was the sole CAD operative. In March 2015, while running an expanding drawing office, he was responsible for the decision to invest in two new pieces of 3D parametric design software; Inventor and Woodwork for Inventor. This was a challenging piece of work, but it was a worthwhile investment which greatly enhanced the design process. Mike joined Realm Projects as a technical draughtsman in May 2017.

Mike’s hobbies include gardening, hill walking and fishing, and to let his hair down (figuratively speaking) he plays drums in a band. While the mid to late nineties saw him touring all over Europe, and more recently he has played at Glastonbury for three consecutive years, the band now enjoys playing small festivals and venues as a hobby.
